Couple’s

What happens when the honeymoon’s over?

Victory Outreach of the San Fernando Valley Couple’s Ministry is an opportunity to help you strengthen your relationship as a couple.

Through mentoring couples in small groups, marriage retreats and more experiences, you and your spouse will strengthen your marriage in focused areas like communication, finances, parenting, conflict management, intimacy, loving God individually and as a couple etc…

Victory Outreach provides many opportunities for you, and your spouse, to learn more about loving each other and how to better yourselves in the journey together.

The Couple’s Ministry will focus on the following:

  1. Communication – Men and women think and act differently. That is a fact of life. Learn to come together on the same page and improve your listening and talking skills.
  2. Conflict Resolution - Do you find yourselves going to bed angry or having fights that last for days? Do you always say the wrong thing at the wrong time? The Bible offers practical wisdom for resolving conflict.
  3. Finances – The 1# killer of marriage is financial irresponsibility that lead to disagreements. Learn biblical, life-changing, principals to help you be better stewards of your finances and marriage.
  4. Parenting – Learn how to build your family around each other with biblical teachings and trainings.
  5. Intimacy – God created sexual intimacy for marriage. It’s okay to talk about sex and ask the tough questions. Learn new and exciting ways to rekindle the fire.

We want to encourage you to take your marriage to the next level. Please feel free to call Victory Outreach Church of the San Fernando Valley if you have any questions or would like to request any counseling.

Regarding love, it says in 1 Corinthians 13:7 that it always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres… at Victory Outreach that’s our goal!

That love “always protects.” That doesn’t mean love enables, covers over, or makes secret those things that should be brought to the light. (Giving “protecting love” is being very careful and prayerful of when, where, and with whom, we share “personal” details of our married life that need extra help and wise counsel.) To truly love our spouse is to protect them by showing honor and respect for their feelings— not revealing or doing anything that will embarrass or “cut them down.” By doing so, we’re dishonoring them and showing that we don’t value them.

If you have any questions or need prayer, please feel free to call us.  Victory Outreach Church 1.818.897.0900
